Bibliophile: An Illustrated Miscellany by Jane Mount is the sweetest book that all book lovers will adore. The charming illustrations in this book are divided by author and book category. Also included are lists of beloved bookstores, as well as illustrated lists of “songs about books” and “books made into great movies” and “books people recommend.” Not to mention an especially endearing section on illustrations of writers’ pets.

This book was made for book lovers and would be a wonderful addition to any library. Sadly I had to give mine back to the library (ha) but I have this on my list of books to buy someday. There were so many bookish facts and stories that I am certain to have missed a few things on my first read. This would be a great addition to anyone’s shelf.
