The Number One Thing You Can’t Travel Without

We have some travel plans coming up at the end of this week and, like always, exactly one week before I sat down and made a quick list of all the things I need to pack. I have forgotten to take socks waaaaay too many times to risk make that mistake again 🙂

There are some things I can’t go without, and thank goodness almost everything comes in a travel size these days! Cleanser, lotion, toothbrushes, contact solution, oh my! Whatever you need or might need, the Target travel-sized toiletry section has got you covered.

So, what’s the number one item I can’t go without?

Makeup remover wipes. Any brand works for me (these and these are two of my favorites). Here’s why it’s the number one thing you should take when you travel:

  • Easy to pack, even in a carry-on
  • Removes all makeup, even eye makeup
  • Counts as washing your face before bed
  • One step: wipe and you’re done

I cringe at the thought of not being able to wash my face at night, especially when I’m traveling and in a new city. Makeup remover wipes are so easy to use and I love knowing my makeup is complete off before I go to bed. There are so many kinds of makeup remover wipes these days, that you are sure to find the right ones for you that smell nice and keep your skin cleansed and refreshed.

Other items of note that are equally important to have while traveling: hand sanitizer, lip balm, and pain reliever 🙂
